I used to apply perfume to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for his ihram before he entered into it, and for his exit from ihram before he performed tawaf around the House.
و حدثنا يحيى بن يحيى قال قرأت على مالك عن عبد الرحمن بن القاسم عن أبيه
كنت أطيب رسول الله ﷺ لإحرامه قبل أن يحرم ولحله قبل أن يطوف بالبيت
