Abdullah bin Amr bin As reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, "Have I not been told that you stand in prayer all night and fast all day?"I replied, "Yes, I do that."He said, "If you do that, your eyes will become sunken and your body will grow weary. Your eyes have a right over you, your body has a right over you, and your family has a right over you. Stand in prayer and sleep, fast and break your fast."
