Muslim narrated the hadith of Uzai, from Yahya, from Abu Salama, from Abdullah bin Amr, who said, the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family, said to me, "Abdullah, do not be like so-and-so, he used to pray at night, then he gave up praying at night."Muslim also narrated it from the hadith of Ibn Mubarak and Bishr, from him, and he said that Abu Ishaq Fazari corroborated them both. But Ibn Abu Ishrin, Walid bin Muslim, Umar bin Abdul-Wahid, Bishr bin Bakr, and Amr bin Abu Salama differed from them, narrating it from Uzai, from Yahya, from Umar bin Hakam bin Thawban, from Abu Salama, adding a man to the chain.Muslim also narrated the hadith through the route of Amr bin Abu Salama, from Uzai, from Muslim. Bukhari said following it, Hisham said, from Ibn Abu Ishrin, and Amr bin Abu Salama said the same.
