With this chain of narration, he heard the Prophet ﷺ saying on a day like this, "I am fasting, so whoever wishes to fast, let him fast." He did not mention the rest of the hadith of Malik and Yunus.

بهذا الإسناد سمع النبي ﷺ يقول في مثل هذا اليوم إني صائم فمن شاء أن يصوم فليصم ولم يذكر باقي حديث مالك ويونس
