The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Beware of continuous fasting."They said, "But you practice continuous fasting, Messenger of Allah."He replied, "You are not like me in that. I spend the night with my Lord feeding me and giving me drink. So take on only those deeds you can bear."
و حدثني زهير بن حرب وإسحق قال زهير حدثنا جرير عن عمارة عن أبي زرعة
قال رسول الله ﷺ إياكم والوصال قالوا فإنك تواصل يا رسول الله قال إنكم لستم في ذلك مثلي إني أبيت يطعمني ربي ويسقيني فاكلفوا من الأعمال ما تطيقون
