The owner of this house told me, and he pointed toward Abdullah's house, "I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, 'Which deeds are most beloved to Allah?'He replied, 'Prayer performed at its proper time.'I asked, 'And then what?'He said, 'Then kindness to one's parents.'I asked, 'And then what?'He said, 'Then jihad in the way of Allah.'"He said, "He told me these three, and had I asked him for more, he would have told me more."Another version adds that he pointed toward Abdullah's house but did not name him for us.
