He was delivering a sermon, narrating from the Prophet ﷺ that he said, "Do not let the call of Bilal deceive you, nor this whiteness, until the dawn appears," or he said, "until the dawn breaks."
حدثنا عبيد الله بن معاذ حدثنا أبي حدثنا شعبة عن سوادة قال سمعت
وهو يخطب يحدث عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال لا يغرنكم نداء بلال ولا هذا البياض حتى يبدو الفجر أو قال حتى ينفجر الفجر
