No one was considered reliable in narrating hadith from Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, except those from among the companions of Abdullah bin Masud.
حدثنا علي بن خشرم، أخبرنا أبو بكر، - يعني ابن عياش - قال سمعت
لم يكن يصدق على علي - رضى الله عنه - في الحديث عنه إلا من أصحاب عبد الله بن مسعود.
