Abu Saeed Khudri reported,

Some men from the Ansar asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for something, and he gave to them. Then they asked him again, and he gave to them, until everything he had was exhausted. He said, "Whatever good I have, I will never withhold from you. Whoever seeks chastity, Allah will grant him chastity. Whoever seeks self-sufficiency, Allah will make him self-sufficient. Whoever exercises patience, Allah will give him patience. No one has been granted a gift better or more abundant than patience."
