I came upon the Prophet ﷺ while he was sitting in the shade of the Kaabah. He then mentioned something similar to the hadith of Waki, except that he said, "By the One in whose hand my soul is, there is no man on earth who dies leaving behind camels, cattle, or sheep on which he has not paid the zakah..."
و حدثناه أبو كريب محمد بن العلاء حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن المعرور
انتهيت إلى النبي ﷺ وهو جالس في ظل الكعبة فذكر نحو حديث وكيع غير أنه قال والذي نفسي بيده ما على الأرض رجل يموت فيدع إبلا أو بقرا أو غنما لم يؤد زكاتها
