The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no owner of gold or silver who fails to pay what is due from it except that on the Day of Resurrection, sheets of fire will be fashioned for him, then heated in the Fire of Hell, and his side, forehead, and back will be branded with them. Whenever they cool, they will be reheated for him, on a Day whose length is fifty thousand years, until judgment is passed among the servants, and he sees his path, either to Paradise or to the Fire."Someone asked, "Messenger of Allah, what about camels?"He replied, "There is no owner of camels who fails to pay what is due from them, part of which is milking them on the day they come to water, except that on the Day of Resurrection he will be laid flat on his face on a vast, level plain, and they will come at their fullest number, not missing a single young one, trampling him with their hooves and biting him with their mouths. Whenever the first of them passes over him, the last is brought back to him, on a Day whose length is fifty thousand years, until judgment is passed among the servants, and he sees his path, either to Paradise or to the Fire."Someone asked, "Messenger of Allah, what about cattle and sheep?"He replied, "There is no owner of cattle or sheep who fails to pay what is due from them except that on the Day of Resurrection he will be laid flat on his face on a vast, level plain, not missing a single one of them. Among them will be none with twisted horns, none hornless, and none with broken horns. They will gore him with their horns and trample him with their hooves. Whenever the first of them passes over him, the last is brought back to him, on a Day whose length is fifty thousand years, until judgment is passed among the servants, and he sees his path, either to Paradise or to the Fire."Someone asked, "Messenger of Allah, what about horses?"He replied, "Horses are of three kinds. For one man they are a burden, for another they are a covering, and for another they are a reward. As for the one for whom they are a burden, it is the man who keeps them out of show, pride, and hostility toward the people of Islam, so they are a burden upon him. As for the one for whom they are a covering, it is the man who keeps them in the cause of Allah and does not forget Allah's right concerning their backs and necks, so they are a covering for him. As for the one for whom they are a reward, it is the man who keeps them in the cause of Allah for the people of Islam, in a meadow or pasture. Whatever they eat from that meadow or pasture is recorded for him as good deeds equal to the amount they ate, and the equivalent of their droppings and urine is recorded for him as good deeds. If they break their tether and gallop one or two stretches, Allah records for him good deeds equal to the number of their tracks and droppings. If their owner passes them by a river and they drink from it, even if he did not intend to water them, Allah records for him good deeds equal to the amount they drank."Someone asked, "Messenger of Allah, what about donkeys?"He replied, "Nothing has been revealed to me concerning donkeys except this single, comprehensive verse, 'So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, and whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.'"
