The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took a pledge from us, along with our oath of allegiance, that we would not wail in mourning. Yet none of us kept that pledge except five women: Umm Sulaym, Umm Ala, the daughter of Abu Sabra who was the wife of Muaz, or the daughter of Abu Sabra and the wife of Muaz.
