The sun was eclipsed during the time of the Prophet ﷺ. He was alarmed and mistakenly grabbed a coat of mail before catching up with his cloak afterward.She said, "I finished my errand, then came and entered the mosque, where I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ standing in prayer. I stood with him. He prolonged the standing so much that I felt like sitting down, but then I would glance at a frail woman beside me and say to myself, 'She is weaker than I am,' so I would remain standing. Then he bowed, and he prolonged the bowing. Then he raised his head and prolonged the standing again, so much so that if a man had come in, he would have thought he had not yet bowed."
و حدثني أحمد بن سعيد الدارمي حدثنا حبان حدثنا وهيب حدثنا منصور عن أمه
كسفت الشمس على عهد النبي ﷺ ففزع فأخطأ بدرع حتى أدرك بردائه بعد ذلك قالت فقضيت حاجتي ثم جئت ودخلت المسجد فرأيت رسول الله ﷺ قائما فقمت معه فأطال القيام حتى رأيتني أريد أن أجلس ثم ألتفت إلى المرأة الضعيفة فأقول هذه أضعف مني فأقوم فركع فأطال الركوع ثم رفع رأسه فأطال القيام حتى لو أن رجلا جاء خيل إليه أنه لم يركع
