I never saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ laugh so heartily that the back of his throat could be seen. He would only smile.She said, "Whenever he saw clouds or felt a wind, the change would show on his face."So she said, "Messenger of Allah, I see that when people notice clouds, they rejoice in the hope that they will bring rain, but when you see them, I see displeasure on your face."She said, He replied, "Ayesha, what assures me that they do not contain punishment? A people were once punished by the wind, and another people saw the punishment approaching and said, 'This is a cloud bringing us rain'" [Ahqaf 46:24].
و حدثني هارون بن معروف حدثنا ابن وهب عن عمرو بن الحارث ح و حدثني أبو الطاهر أخبرنا عبد الله بن وهب أخبرنا عمرو بن الحارث أن أبا النضر حدثه عن سليمان بن يسار
ما رأيت رسول الله ﷺ مستجمعا ضاحكا حتى أرى منه لهواته إنما كان يتبسم قالت وكان إذا رأى غيما أو ريحا عرف ذلك في وجهه فقالت يا رسول الله أرى الناس إذا رأوا الغيم فرحوا رجاء أن يكون فيه المطر وأراك إذا رأيته عرفت في وجهك الكراهية قالت فقال يا عائشة ما يؤمنني أن يكون فيه عذاب قد عذب قوم بالريح وقد رأى قوم العذاب فقالوا {هذا عارض ممطرنا}
