While the Prophet ﷺ was standing delivering the Friday sermon, a caravan arrived in Medina. The companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ rushed out toward it until only twelve men remained with him, among them Abu Bakr and Umar.He said, and this verse was revealed, "And when they see a transaction or amusement, they rush off to it" [Jumuah 62:11].
و حدثنا إسمعيل بن سالم أخبرنا هشيم أخبرنا حصين عن أبي سفيان وسالم بن أبي الجعد
بينا النبي ﷺ قائم يوم الجمعة إذ قدمت عير إلى المدينة فابتدرها أصحاب رسول الله ﷺ حتى لم يبق معه إلا اثنا عشر رجلا فيهم أبو بكر وعمر قال ونزلت هذه الآية {وإذا رأوا تجارة أو لهوا انفضوا إليها}
