The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When Friday comes, angels stand at every gate of the mosque recording who arrives first, then the next, and so on. Once the imam sits down, they roll up their scrolls and come to listen to the sermon. The one who comes early is like a person offering a camel as sacrifice, then like one offering a cow, then like one offering a ram, then like one offering a chicken, then like one offering an egg."
و حدثني أبو الطاهر وحرملة وعمرو بن سواد العامري قال أبو الطاهر حدثنا و قال الآخران أخبرنا ابن وهب أخبرني يونس عن ابن شهاب أخبرني أبو عبد الله الأغر أنه سمع
ا قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا كان يوم الجمعة كان على كل باب من أبواب المسجد ملائكة يكتبون الأول فالأول فإذا جلس الإمام طووا الصحف وجاءوا يستمعون الذكر ومثل المهجر كمثل الذي يهدي البدنة ثم كالذي يهدي بقرة ثم كالذي يهدي الكبش ثم كالذي يهدي الدجاجة ثم كالذي يهدي البيضة
