The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The root of disbelief lies toward the east. Pride and arrogance are found among the people of horses and camels, the loud-voiced nomads who dwell in tents of hair, while tranquility is found among the people of sheep."
حدثنا يحيى بن يحيى قال قرأت على مالك عن أبي الزناد عن الأعرج
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال رأس الكفر نحو المشرق والفخر والخيلاء في أهل الخيل والإبل الفدادين أهل الوبر والسكينة في أهل الغنم
