The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The one who has memorized the Quran is like the owner of hobbled camels. If he keeps watch over them, he retains them, but if he sets them loose, they go away."
حدثنا يحيى بن يحيى قال قرأت على مالك عن نافع
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إنما مثل صاحب القرآن كمثل الإبل المعقلة إن عاهد عليها أمسكها وإن أطلقها ذهبت
