Ubayy said concerning Laylat al-Qadr, "By Allah, I certainly know which night it is. To the best of my knowledge it is the night the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us to spend in prayer, the twenty-seventh night."Shuba was uncertain only about this phrase, "it is the night which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us about." He said, "A companion of mine narrated it to me from him."
