The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray thirteen units at night, making five of them the witr prayer, during which he would not sit except in the last of them.
و حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة وأبو كريب قالا حدثنا عبد الله بن نمير ح و حدثنا ابن نمير حدثنا أبي حدثنا هشام عن أبيه
كان رسول الله ﷺ يصلي من الليل ثلاث عشرة ركعة يوتر من ذلك بخمس لا يجلس في شيء إلا في آخرها
