They both included the hadith of Ibn Jurayj, from Zuhri, from Abdul-Rahman bin Abdullah, from his father and his uncle Ubaydullah, from Kaab, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, whenever he arrived from a journey during the forenoon, would begin with the masjid and pray two units of prayer in it. This is from the narration of Abu Asim and Abdul-Razzaq.He said, Abu Usama differed from them, narrating it from Ibn Jurayj, from Zuhri, from Abdul-Rahman, from his father. Abdul-Razzaq said the same from Maamar. And Hajjaj said, from Layth, from Aqeel, from Zuhri, from a son of Kaab, from Kaab.In my view, the first hadith of Ibn Jurayj is the more sahih of the two, and it is not harmed by those who differed with it.

Hafiz said in the introduction to Fath al-Bari, page 364, after quoting Daraqutni's statement, "I say, the statement of Mamar and others, narrating from Abdul-Rahman bin Kaab, should be understood as attributing him to his grandfather, meaning their narration is disconnected. This response from Daraqutni is correct, in that disagreement of this kind does no harm, as we established earlier. And Allah knows best." End of citation.

I say, Daraqutni, may Allah have mercy on him, judges that the hadith of Ibn Jurayj which they both recorded is more sahih. And Allah knows best.
