Abdullah bin Malik reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a man who was praying when the iqama for the dawn prayer had already been called. He said something to him, but we did not know what it was. When we finished, we gathered around the man and asked, "What did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say to you?"He replied, "He said to me, 'It is about to happen that one of you will pray the dawn prayer as four rakats.'"Qanabi reported it as Abdullah bin Malik Ibn Buhayna, from his father. Abu al-Husayn Muslim said that the phrase "from his father" in this hadith is an error.
