The Messenger of Allah ﷺ combined the Dhuhr and Asr prayers, and the Maghrib and Isha prayers, while in Madinah, without there being any fear or rain.In Waki's version of the hadith, he said, I asked Ibn Abbas, "Why did he do that?"He replied, "So as not to place his nation in hardship."And in Abu Muawiya's version, Ibn Abbas was asked, "What did he intend by that?"He answered, "He intended not to place his nation in hardship."

جمع رسول الله ﷺ بين الظهر والعصر والمغرب والعشاء بالمدينة في غير خوف ولا مطر في حديث وكيع قال قلت لابن عباس لم فعل ذلك قال كي لا يحرج أمته وفي حديث أبي معاوية قيل لابن عباس ما أراد إلى ذلك قال أراد أن لا يحرج أمته
