He called the adhan for prayer on a night that was cold, windy, and rainy, and at the end of his call he said, "Pray in your dwellings. Pray in your dwellings."Then he said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to order the muadhdhin, when the night was cold or rainy during travel, to say, 'Pray in your dwellings.'"
حدثنا محمد بن عبد الله بن نمير حدثنا أبي حدثنا عبيد الله حدثني نافع
أنه نادى بالصلاة في ليلة ذات برد وريح ومطر فقال في آخر ندائه ألا صلوا في رحالكم ألا صلوا في الرحال ثم قال إن رسول الله ﷺ كان يأمر المؤذن إذا كانت ليلة باردة أو ذات مطر في السفر أن يقول ألا صلوا في رحالكم
