Muaz bin Jabal reported,

I was riding behind the Prophet ﷺ with nothing between us except the back of the saddle when he said, "Muaz bin Jabal."I replied, "At your service, Messenger of Allah, and at your pleasure."He rode on for a while, then said, "Muaz bin Jabal."I replied, "At your service, Messenger of Allah, and at your pleasure."He rode on for a while, then said, "Muaz bin Jabal."I replied, "At your service, Messenger of Allah, and at your pleasure."He asked, "Do you know what the right of Allah upon His servants is?"I said, "Allah and His Messenger know best."He said, "The right of Allah upon His servants is that they worship Him and not associate anything with Him."He rode on for a while, then said, "Muaz bin Jabal."I replied, "At your service, Messenger of Allah, and at your pleasure."He asked, "Do you know what the right of the servants upon Allah is when they do that?"I said, "Allah and His Messenger know best."He said, "That He will not punish them."
