The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about the times of the prayers. He said, "The time of the Fajr prayer is as long as the first edge of the sun has not risen. The time of the Zuhr prayer is when the sun has passed the middle of the sky, as long as the time for Asr has not arrived. The time of the Asr prayer is as long as the sun has not turned yellow and its first edge has not set. The time of the Maghrib prayer is when the sun has set, as long as the twilight has not disappeared. And the time of the Isha prayer is until midnight."
و حدثني أحمد بن يوسف الأزدي حدثنا عمر بن عبد الله بن رزين حدثنا إبراهيم يعني ابن طهمان عن الحجاج وهو ابن حجاج عن قتادة عن أبي أيوب
سئل رسول الله ﷺ عن وقت الصلوات فقال وقت صلاة الفجر ما لم يطلع قرن الشمس الأول ووقت صلاة الظهر إذا زالت الشمس عن بطن السماء ما لم يحضر العصر ووقت صلاة العصر ما لم تصفر الشمس ويسقط قرنها الأول ووقت صلاة المغرب إذا غابت الشمس ما لم يسقط الشفق ووقت صلاة العشاء إلى نصف الليل
