The prayer was called and the people formed their rows, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out and stood in his place. Then he gestured to them with his hand to stay where they were. He went back, and when he returned he had bathed and his head was dripping with water, and he led them in prayer.
و حدثني زهير بن حرب حدثنا الوليد بن مسلم حدثنا أبو عمرو يعني الأوزاعي حدثنا الزهري عن أبي سلمة
أقيمت الصلاة وصف الناس صفوفهم وخرج رسول الله ﷺ فقام مقامه فأومأ إليهم بيده أن مكانكم فخرج وقد اغتسل ورأسه ينطف الماء فصلى بهم
