We did not know when the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had ended except by the takbir.Amr said, "I mentioned this to Abu Mabad, but he denied it and said, 'I did not narrate this to you.'"Amr added, "Yet he had indeed informed me of it earlier."
حدثنا ابن أبي عمر حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن عمرو بن دينار عن أبي معبد مولى ابن عباس أنه سمعه يخبر
ما كنا نعرف انقضاء صلاة رسول الله ﷺ إلا بالتكبير قال عمرو فذكرت ذلك لأبي معبد فأنكره وقال لم أحدثك بهذا قال عمرو وقد أخبرنيه قبل ذلك
