Ibn Abu Atiq reported,

Qasim and I were conversing in the presence of Ayesha Qasim was a man who often made grammatical errors in his speech, as he was the son of a slave-mother.Ayesha said to him, "Why don't you speak the way this nephew of mine speaks? I know exactly where this comes from. His mother taught him manners, while your mother taught you."Qasim became angry and harbored resentment toward her. When he saw that Ayesha's food had been brought, he stood up.She asked, "Where are you going?"He replied, "To pray."She said, "Sit down."He said, "I am going to pray."She said, "Sit down, you treacherous one. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'There is no prayer when food is present, nor when one is restraining the two filths.'"
