From the Prophet ﷺ, with this hadith similar to the hadith of Shuba, in which he said, "I forbid you from what is steeped in gourds, hollowed stumps, green pitchers, and tar-coated vessels."Ibn Muaz added in his narration from his father that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to al-Ashajj, the Ashajj of Abdul-Qays, "You possess two qualities that Allah loves, forbearance and deliberation."
و حدثني عبيد الله بن معاذ حدثنا أبي ح و حدثنا نصر بن علي الجهضمي قال أخبرني أبي قالا جميعا حدثنا قرة بن خالد عن أبي جمرة
عن النبي ﷺ بهذا الحديث نحو حديث شعبة وقال أنهاكم عما ينبذ في الدباء والنقير والحنتم والمزفت وزاد ابن معاذ في حديثه عن أبيه قال وقال رسول الله ﷺ للأشج أشج عبد القيس إن فيك خصلتين يحبهما الله الحلم والأناة
