Ibn Abu Mulayka reported,

Umar bin Khattab passed by a woman afflicted with leprosy who was performing tawaf around the House, and he said to her, "Servant of Allah, do not cause people distress. It would be better if you stayed in your house."So she stayed at home. Later a man passed by her and said, "The one who forbade you has died, so go out."She replied, "I am not one to obey him while he lived and disobey him now that he is dead."

عن ابن أبي مليكة

أن عمر بن الخطاب مر بامرأة مجذومة وهي تطوف بالبيت فقال لها يا أمة الله لا تؤذي الناس لو جلست في بيتك فجلست فمر بها رجل بعد ذلك فقال لها إن الذي كان قد نهاك قد مات فاخرجي فقالت ما كنت لأطيعه حيا وأعصيه ميتا
