Salim bin Abdullah bin Umar reported,

I saw my father, Abdullah bin Umar, perform ghusl and then perform wudu, so I said to him, "Father, doesn't the ghusl suffice you in place of the wudu?"He replied, "Yes, it does, but sometimes I touch my private part, so I perform wudu."

و حدثني عن مالك عن ابن شهاب

عن سالم بن عبد الله أنه قال

رأيت أبي عبد الله بن عمر يغتسل ثم يتوضأ فقلت له يا أبت أما يجزيك الغسل من الوضوء قال بلى ولكني أحيانا أمس ذكري فأتوضأ
