Yahya bin Saeed reported,

A man came to Umar bin Khattab and asked him about some locusts he had killed while in a state of ihram.Umar said to Kaab, "Come, let us decide the matter together."Kaab said, "A dirham."Umar said to him, "You find dirhams easy to come by. A single date is worth more than a locust."

أن رجلا جاء إلى عمر بن الخطاب فسأله عن جرادات قتلها وهو محرم فقال عمر لكعب تعال حتى نحكم فقال كعب درهم فقال عمر لكعب إنك لتجد الدراهم لتمرة خير من جرادة
