Nafi reported,

Abdullah bin Umar used to say that whoever is still at Mina when the sun sets on the middle day of Tashriq must not depart until he has thrown the pebbles the following day.

أن عبد الله بن عمر كان يقول من غربت له الشمس من أوسط أيام التشريق وهو بمنى فلا ينفرن حتى يرمي الجمار من الغد
