Umar bin Khattab led the people in prayer at Makkah, praying two units, and when he finished he said, "People of Makkah, complete your prayer, for we are travelers."Then Umar prayed two units at Mina, and it has not reached us that he said anything to them.
و حدثني عن مالك
أن عمر بن الخطاب صلى للناس بمكة ركعتين فلما انصرف قال يا أهل مكة أتموا صلاتكم فإنا قوم سفر ثم صلى عمر ركعتين بمنى ولم يبلغنا أنه قال لهم شيئا
