Nafi reported,

Abdullah bin Umar, whenever he broke the fast at the end of Ramadan and intended to perform Hajj, would not cut anything from the hair of his head or his beard until he had performed Hajj.

حدثني يحيى عن مالك،

عن نافع

أن عبد الله بن عمر كان إذا أفطر من رمضان؛ وهو يريد الحج، لم يأخذ من رأسه، ولا من لحيته شيئا، حتى يحج.
