Ali bin Abu Talib told him to ask the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on his behalf about a man who draws near to his wife and a discharge comes from him, and what is required of him.Ali said, "The daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is my wife, and I am too shy to ask him myself."Miqdad said, "So I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about that, and he said, 'When one of you finds that, let him wash his private part with water and perform the ablution as he does for the prayer.'"
حدثني يحيى عن مالك عن أبي النضر مولى عمر بن عبيد الله عن سليمان بن يسار
أن علي بن أبي طالب أمره أن يسأل له رسول الله ﷺ عن الرجل إذا دنا من أهله فخرج منه المذي ماذا عليه قال علي فإن عندي ابنة رسول الله ﷺ وأنا أستحي أن أسأله قال المقداد فسألت رسول الله ﷺ عن ذلك فقال إذا وجد ذلك أحدكم فلينضح فرجه بالماء وليتوضأ وضوءه للصلاة
