Abdullah bin Dinar reported,

He used to see Abdullah bin Umar offer two sacrificial camels for Hajj and one sacrificial camel for Umrah. He said, "I saw him, during Umrah, slaughter a camel while it stood in the house of Khalid bin Usayd, where he was staying. And I saw him thrust the spear into the base of the camel's neck so forcefully that it came out beneath her shoulder."

أنه كان يرى عبد الله بن عمر يهدي في الحج بدنتين بدنتين وفي العمرة بدنة بدنة قال ورأيته في العمرة ينحر بدنة وهي قائمة في دار خالد بن أسيد وكان فيها منزله قال ولقد رأيته طعن في لبة بدنته حتى خرجت الحربة من تحت كتفها
