Miswar bin Makhrama reported,

He came in to see Umar bin Khattab during the night on which he was stabbed, and he woke Umar for the dawn prayer.Umar said, "Yes, for there is no share in Islam for anyone who abandons prayer."So Umar prayed while his wound was gushing blood.

أنه دخل على عمر بن الخطاب من الليلة التي طعن فيها فأيقظ عمر لصلاة الصبح فقال عمر نعم ولا حظ في الإسلام لمن ترك الصلاة فصلى عمر وجرحه يثعب دما
