Hisham bin Urwa reported,

His father, whenever he circled the House, would jog the first three circuits while saying, "Allah, there is no god but You, and You give life after You have brought death." He would lower his voice when saying it.

أن أباه كان إذا طاف بالبيت يسعى الأشواط الثلاثة يقول اللهم لا إله إلا أنتا وأنت تحيي بعد ما أمتا يخفض صوته بذلك
