He related that he saw Saeed bin Musayab suffer a nosebleed while he was praying. Saeed went to the chamber of Umm Salama, the Prophet's wife, where water for ablution was brought to him. He performed the ablution, then returned and continued his prayer from where he had left off.
وحدثني عن مالك،
أنه رأى سعيد بن المسيب رعف؛ وهو يص، فأتى حجرة أم سلمة، زوج النبي، فأتي بوضوه، فتوضا، ثم رجع فبتى على ما قد صلى.
