Abdullah bin Zubayr stayed in Makkah for nine years, and each year he would enter the state of consecration for Hajj at the appearance of the new moon of Dhul-Hijjah, and Urwa bin Zubayr, who was with him, did the same.

أن عبد الله بن الزبير أقام بمكة تسع سنين وهو يهل بالحج لهلال ذي الحجة وعروة بن الزبير معه يفعل ذلك
