It reached him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Be upright, though you will never manage it fully. And know that the best of your deeds is prayer, and none but a believer is careful to maintain wudu."
وحدثني
أنه بلغه: أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: استقيموا، ولن تحصوا. واعلموا، وخير أعمالكم الصلاة، ولا يحافظ على الوضوء إلا مؤمن.
