The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Beware of fasting continuously without breaking the fast. Beware of fasting continuously without breaking the fast."They said, "But you yourself fast continuously, Messenger of Allah."He replied, "I am not like you. I pass the night while my Lord feeds me and gives me drink."
و حدثني عن مالك عن أبي الزناد عن الأعرج
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إياكم والوصال إياكم والوصال قالوا فإنك تواصل يا رسول الله قال إني لست كهيئتكم إني أبيت يطعمني ربي ويسقيني
