Qasim bin Muhammad bin Abu Bakr reported,

Ayesha was the guardian of myself and a brother of mine, two orphans under her care, and she used to pay the zakat due on our property.

و حدثني عن مالك

عن عبد الرحمن بن القاسم عن أبيه أنه قال

كانت عائشة تليني وأخا لي يتيمين في حجرها فكانت تخرج من أموالنا الزكاة
