Qasim bin Muhammad bin Abu Bakr reported,

Ayesha, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, used to care for her brother's daughters, orphans under her guardianship. They owned jewelry, and she did not pay zakat on their jewelry.

أن عائشة زوج النبي ﷺ كانت تلي بنات أخيها يتامى في حجرها لهن الحلي فلا تخرج من حليهن الزكاة
