Yahya bin Saeed reported,

He asked Abdullah bin Amir bin Rabia about a man who performs wudu for prayer and then eats food that has been touched by fire, whether he must perform wudu again.Abdullah replied, "I saw my father do that, and he did not perform wudu again."

أنه سأل عبد الله بن عامر بن ربيعة عن الرجل يتوضأ للصلاة، ثم يصيب طعاما قد مسته النار، أيتوضأ؟ قال: رأيت أبي يفعل ذلك، ولا يتوضأ.
