Abdullah bin Abu Bakr reported,

Asma bint Umays washed the body of Abu Bakr Siddiq when he died. Then she came out and asked those of the Emigrants who were present, "I am fasting, and this is a bitterly cold day. Am I obliged to bathe?"They answered, "No."

عن عبد الله بن أبي بكر

أن أسماء بنت عميس غسلت أبا بكر الصديق حين توفي ثم خرجت فسألت من حضرها من المهاجرين فقالت إني صائمة وإن هذا يوم شديد البرد فهل علي من غسل فقالوا لا
