Malik reported,

Abu Darda used to rise in the depth of the night and say, "The eyes have fallen asleep, the stars have sunk low, and You are the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all."

عن مالك، أنه بلغه

أن أبا الدرداء كان يقوم من جوف الليل، فيقول: نامت العيون، وغارت النجوم، وأنت الحي القيوم
