The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray, saying, "O Allah, I ask You for the doing of good deeds, the abandoning of evil deeds, and love for the poor. And if You intend to try the people with a trial, then take me to Yourself untried."
وحدثني
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يدعو، فيقول: اللهم إني أسألك فعل الخيرات وترك المنكرات وحب المساكين وإذا أردت في الناس فتنة فاقبضني إليك غير مفتون.
